Join exhibition curator Conrad Benner for a special, two-hour guided walking tour of Revolutionary: A Pop-Up Street Art Exhibition!
Revolutionary is a six-week exhibition featuring works of art from 13 contemporary Philly-based artists installed at 13 historic locations across Philadelphia’s Historic District (an area of the city that runs from the Delaware River to 7th Street and from Vine to Lombard Streets.) It will be on view from Thursday, May 25 through Tuesday, July 4.
Commissioned by Visit Philadelphia and curated by StreetsDept.com’s Conrad Benner, the exhibition seeks to explore the juxtaposition of contemporary art with social and political themes over historic place and architecture in order to pull a thread through history to the hopes and challenges of our present day.
While the exhibition is free and open to the pulbic (full map here,) this specially guided walking tour lead by the curator will offer greater insight into the exhibition and its themes!
